Makeup Inspo: Halloween Series by MothQueen Makeup

It’s that time of year again, October is here and Halloween is just around the corner! Time to get creative and figure out what you’re dressing up as for Halloween.  It can be tough to choose your costume, there are so many awesome ideas out there but fear not, we’ve got you covered! MothQueen Makeup is making a Halloween makeup tutorial series and we have gathered the looks for you. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy! 🙂

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride is a classic choice for Halloween. The popular musical fantasy film introduced us to this amazing character and since then, people have been dressing up as the Corpse Bride by dying gowns with blue color and of course, painting their faces like Emily.

The buzz of the 2016 movie Suicide Squad, brought to light one of the less known characters Enchantress, also known as June Moone. Her unique haunting appearance makes her one the best choices for Halloween this year.

Mystique is a supervillain created by Marvel Comics. She can mimic the appearance and voice of any person with exquisite precision and her natural appearance includes blue skin and yellow eyes. If you’re into superheroes and supervillains, make sure to get your hands on that blue dye and yellow lenses and dress up as the mysterious Mystique!

This look is when you want to look both cute and creepy! Skull painted faces are a common sight during Halloween but this one is a nice alternative and with a pop of color that will make you stand out.

Looking to create a spine-tingling horror atmosphere this Halloween? This devilish costume idea is what will make your friends jump with fear. Don’t forget to add a nice pair of horns and black sclera lenses to complete the look!

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty. If you like Greek mythology, then you know all about her and I’m sure you’re pleasantly surprised to her in this list. The broken effect on the marble gives just the right amount of spookiness to the look. You can complete the outfit with a white layered fabric and sandals.

Bring the creepy carnival to Halloween this year by dressing up as a clown! You can’t go wrong with this one. I mean, clowns are scary right? And if you watched American Horror Story “Freakshow”, then you *know* how terrifying clowns can be.

This costume may not be scary but it’s definitely one that will turn heads! Complete the outfit with a bodice with encrusted shells and a tail skirt.

We hope this post helped you find your perfect Halloween costume! There’s more coming in part 2 so make sure to come back 😉 Watch the full tutorials on Moth Queen’s channel and find out how to spook all your friends this Halloween!
