How would you describe yourself?
I’m just a regular person, who loves gothic and lolita fashion.

You are a great model, and an amazing artist creating dream costumes. Which came first modeling or design?
When I was 14, I had a big problem with finding clothes for my size. I’m 162cm height and XS size, so everything at store was too big for me. One day my friend told me that he has a sewing machine and can help me. We met and it was first time I saw a “home” sewing machine. I decided to try it by myself. Since then I was re-making all my casual clothes. It wasn’t long time until I made my first classic lolita dress. I had no idea how to make it, but I did it using a pattern made by my friend. It was quite nice. Next dresses were better, so a girl from my city asked me about a photoshoot. Why not? I went to the park with her and we took some photos. Next day she sent me first picture. It was amazing! I couldn’t believe it was me! Usually I was always running away when I saw a camera! It was my first really good photo. No regrets. Later we did many more photos, but this first one is still my favorite.

Can you tell us the story behind the name Lady Sariel?
It’s not interesting. Really. I was just interested in angels and demons when I was 14.

How would you describe your style as a designer and what do you try to portray through your designs?
I started as a gothic lolita designer, but now I prefer nu goth. This style is so wide, I can do almost everything I have in my mind and it’s still related to nu goth fashion. I love fishnets, harnesses and leather stripes which I couldn’t use in lolita fashion.

And what lead you to alternative fashion more specifically Lolita Style?
That’s funny. Anime. I’ve read Death Note. Of course google taught me that the main character wasn’t lolita at all. I felt in love with all the laces, frills and bows. Cuteness was really balanced in those gothic and elegant dresses.

What do you think that makes your designs stand out from others?
It’s not a good question right now, since I’m changing my style to more gothic. I’m in progress with my fashion show collection and I hope you will like it as much as I.

What about fabrics, which ones do you prefer to work with?
Black ones. Or at least dark. I’m too scared to make anything of pink or beige fabric. I think it would be… unnatural? Weird? I’m afraid I don’t even know how to use it. I don’t wear bright colors by myself either. Since I remember I was wearing dark colors and I feel pretty in black.

How can we buy one of your pieces?
It’s impossible at this moment. I will be running my store when I finish my fashion show collection.

Do you enjoy modeling your own designs or you prefer to see other models wearing them?
I love posing in my designs. I really enjoy every photoshoot and it’s a great excuse for doing photosessions! But I really like seeing selfies of girls wearing my harnesses on instagram <3

If you could dress anyone for a special photo shoot, who would it be?
Maria Amanda! And I would love to pose with her as “this bad one” sister.

What do you consider your biggest career highlights so far?
My first fashion show. It was really stressful, because I had to make at least 8 outfits. Whole outfits. I spent a lot of time finding or making all the jewellery and accessories for every model. I even bought tights for everyone. Also, the main thing in lolita fashion is puffy skirt. I had to borrow petticoats from every source hoping it will be enough fluffy. I’m not sure how but I did it!

I really have to ask you this question with so many projects that you are in where do you go for inspiration? Do you have an idol?
I just enjoy random stuff from internet. Sometimes I save a picture of a girl, because I love part of her outfit. It could be a cut of dress or even accessories. Maybe some chains on the skirt? Everithing may inspire me.

You look amazing in your modeling outfits! But how do you dress on your everyday life?
I wear almost only black. I love shorts, croptops and overknee socks. Most of my selfies on instagram are my casual outfits.

Do you have any concepts for future shoots that you’re just dying to try out?
I usually don’t have any specific concept for photoshoot. I’m making a dress and then I think about props, poses and stuff. My big dream is to have a photoshoot with Agnieszka Lorek and Kareva Margarita. Maybe one day…

After all that what more can we expect seeing you do in the future, what are your biggest goals in life?
I want to be more active on my youtube channel and tell everyone how fun photoshoots are. At this moment I tried 2 times and it’s so weird talk to my camera.

So to end … You know you have many fans out there: What would you like to say to them?
Never give up with your dreams and if you have an opportunity to do something new – do it! It may be your new path.
